I just took the two PDFs to a local photocopying place and
they wanted to do both A4s on a A3 and then cut then down
(cheaper).

However they use Corel (I think, it's some kind of
graphics package that runs on Windows) to print direct to
their photocopier (I don't have a printer so I can't
produce a paper original) and when they open the PDFs in
Corel to merge the two A4s into a A3 there are missing
fonts (not so bad substituting with Helvetics is probably
OK) and also the image is missing...

I wonder if this is a problem with the PDFs or with Corel?
