Perhaps we could arrange for some vans (anybody have a bus?) to go up to the Cedar-Lee together?
This movie speaks to what we do here, why we do it, who benefits and who loses. Larry Parker

Hello All,
Thought you might like to know Food Inc. starts Friday, July 10th at the Cedar Lee Theatre.
And there will be a special panel discussion following the 7:10 showing on Monday, July 13th.
The audience is invited to watch and discuss "Food, Inc." on Monday, July 13th, at 7:10 p.m., with an exceptional panel of local voices, including Brad Masi (Executive Director of the New Agrarian Center), Warren Taylor (Dairy Evangelist from Snowville Creamery), and Anthony Zappitelli (Training Specialist at Whole Foods Market), along with Peter McDermott (Network Weaver at Entrepreneurs for Sustainability and founder of LocalFoodCleveland.org), serving as moderator. In addition to lively conversation, attendees will also be treated to a sample tasting of all-natural foods, courtesy of Whole Foods Market, in the lobby, following the event.

>The veil on our nation's food industry is lifted, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that's been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government's regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA. Our nation's food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. We have bigger-breasted chickens, the perfect pork chop, insecticide-resistant soybean seeds, even tomatoes that won't go bad, but we also have new strains of e coli--the harmful bacteria that causes illness for an estimated 73,000 Americans annually.
