Come to the final event in Science & Technology's April series 
exploring topics related to the Great Outdoors. 
Lawrence Parker, Executive Director of The Akron Cooperative will 
lead a lively discussion of the joys and challenges of enjoying locally 
grown food.  Working in cooperation with the City of Akron and the Akron Grows project, The Akron Cooperative has developed the community 
gardens around the city, a project now in the second year. 
Discover how you can take part in what is quickly becoming a global 
movement - urban gardening and the development of year-round local food 
systems.
Come prepared with your own experiences and questions, and join in the 
conversation. 
This program will be held in Meeting Room 2 on Main Library's 
High Stret level. Please join us!
