Tremont
Farmers’ Market is looking for a volunteer Chef Coordinator for their 2010
season. We thought this would be a perfect opportunity for one of our Slow Food

Slow Foodies are

21: Film Festival and Greenhouse Tavern Event
Spend your Sunday
learning about and eating local foods!! The Cleveland International Film
Festival presents Ingredients,
a food documentary that features local foods and farmers, including The
Chef's Garden.  Join other Slow Food members for the showing on
Sunday, March 21st at 11:45am.  Tickets are on sale
now.  After the film we'll be meeting for food and drink at The Greenhouse Tavern,
who will be featuring their Happy Hour menu all day!  The Greenhouse will
even be creating a special 360 Vodka spring cocktail just for us!  If
you'd like to attend you can purchase your film ticket on your own. Then just
let us know if you'll be attending The Greenhouse Tavern after the film.

28, Soggiorno in Fattoria, Slow, Local Food and Art at Dante
Slow
Food members, Dante Boccuzzi and Dan Morgan are bringing together a series of
local food and art with seasonal art shows and slow food inspired menus. The
first cocktail party in the series will feature large scale photographs by Dan
Morgan, who plans to select the next artist to follow him with an Autumn-themed
exhibition. Soggiorno in Fattoria,
Italian for Farm Stay, is the title of the inaugural exhibition that opens
Sunday, March 28 from 6-8pm. Tickets are $35 and limited to 100, giving the
attendees first crack at purchasing the very limited edition work, printed on
canvas gallery wraps with special archival inks. Dante will offer local and slow-inspired
appetizers featuring meats and cheeses from area farms, as well as a selection
of fine wines for the reception. Call
216.274.1200 to reserve tickets or for more information. Dante is located in Cleveland ’s Tremont
neighborhood at 2247 Professor Ave.
