Subject: OEFFA Spring Newsletter--Vol. 30 No. 2
Dear Lawrence,
It’s Spring! I don’t know about you, but when I went outside on that first sunny morning
in March, I was so excited for Spring to arrive that I couldn’t stop myself from throwing
my arms into the air and spinning around “Sound of Music” style to celebrate!
The Early Spring edition of the OEFFA newsletter (Vol. 30, No. 2) is now available
online, just in time for your own Spring celebrations. It’s chocked full of news, recipes,
resources, events, and more, to help farmers, gardeners, and consumers connect and work
to rebuild a sustainable food system here in Ohio.
And, now, our newsletter is available online for our electronic subscribers! Rather than
attaching the newsletter to this email, you can now read our Spring newsletter by going to http://www.oeffa.us/oeffa/pdfs/2_2010_webfinal.pdf
Here’s a taste of what you’ll find inside:

require deliberate farmers.

further! Find out where food safety policy and agreements stand, and find out what you
can do!
Making Sense of the National Organic Program—Pg. 13
This installment explores what is and isn’t covered by the NOP, focusing specifically on
aquaculture (fish and marine plants), apiculture (honey bees), personal care products, and
lawn care.
OEFFA’s “Gardening Like the Forest” Workshop Series—Pg. 16
OEFFA will be offering a series of workshops throughout Ohio with instructor Dave
