This you can buy most anywhere and apply a small amount (a cup or so) around the base of each plant. You don't need to work it into the soil, but it doesn't hurt either way. There are also organic, plant-specific foods (see more below).<br><br>For general insect control, plant marigolds around and throughout your garden.<br>You can also use an insecticidal soap shield.<br>If you're dealing with slugs (you'll find holes in your leaves), put out a can of beer (opened of course). They love the brew and will crawl inside
and die happy. There is also a product call "Escar-go" put out by a company name Gardens Alive. <br><br>My wife and I have used Gardens Alive products for years and have always been very happy with them.
