thanks robin for this. i realize this and am playing around in pine
because mutt scares the pants off me.

i suppose the other reasons for going pine [at the moment] are:

[a] riseup offer it.

[b] i've never done imap before and that added to mutt seemed too steep a
learning curve.

mmmm. may have to have a rethink.
