Gnu Free Documentation License is intended for media other than software:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/licenses.html#FDL

Commonly used by publishers these days - e.g. O'Reilly uses it for their open
'non-code' related books.

There are problems with some of the definitions in the Creative Commons
license -- according to Richard Stallman. I had a look at it and didn't think
it was explicit enough.

"We are not for names, nor men, nor titles of Government, nor are we for
this party nor against the other but we are for justice and mercy and
truth and peace and true freedom, that these may be exalted in our nation,
and that goodness, righteousness, meekness, temperance, peace and unity
with God, and with one another, that these things may abound."
(Edward Burroughs, 1659 - from 'Quaker Faith and Practice')
