Its a standard mailman installation.  A list admin can customise those settings
how they like.

There is this setting that may be of relevance


Hide the sender of a message, replacing it with the list address (Removes From,
Sender and Reply-To fields)
(Edit anonymous_list)

I've started reading about this.  I have found one project that looks 'current'
so far.

Archives closed is up to a list admin.   Ip addresses are available in the email
headers i guess, an anonymous remailer would perhaps fix that.  This is an
interesting request and certainly nontrivial for me.

There is still steady - though slow - progress being made on the building of a
new server to replace the existing aktivix one, with a build coloured by the
recent indymedia server events.  This is something else to through into the
mix
