Hallo to the Aktivix discussion list,

I work for the Ethical Property Company: we house 'social change' groups in
buildings we've renovated, supporting them as best we can, at much below market
rate, and use the dosh made to develop other centres.  Tenants include folk
like Corporate Watch, Rising Tide, Bristol Indymedia, and here in Sheffield
there's the Northern Refugee Centre, New Arrivals Project, Development
Education Association, Mediation Sheffield...

I'm trying to tie the company more into the wider activist community, e.g. by
getting the space here at Scotia works in Sheffield opened up to other groups.

I'd like to set up an e-mail list for the building, to help develop the centre's
communications, get things happening between tenants, and get it connected a
little more to what's going on outside.

So!  Any chance of an Aktivix list?

There's the possibility that, if it's a success, it could spread to other
centres.  If that happens, I'll try to persuade my boss to make a donation to
Aktivix - can't promise anything though!
