Allo

Anyone yet found a cure for getting PHP to work with Apache in the 
latest Ubuntu distro?  HTML's fine.

Tried everything at

and ready to cry.

Question from idiot: installed apache 2, but when I chmod stuff so's it 
won't let me open it, apache tells me its running Apache/1.3.33 Server 
at localhost Port 80, not Apache 2.

That would seem to be the obvious thing - which someone mentioned on a 
forum - or am I missing something really obvious?

And! Is it bad form to write to lists with questions like this, when I 
should go scribble on a forum?
