Thanks so much mp and Alan,

well now that I know it is caused by my aol connection it is all more clear.

Yes I have tried all suggestions, doing telnet 25 and 2525 gets a

ive tried tls, ssl... anyway i know why it is now; weird thing is itis
allowed with riseup but well, if one works then it's fine.
