Hi,

looks like the Free Software Foundation is organising a day of online
and offline actions against DRM (Digital Restrictions Management). Check
the links below for more info.

People/groups with websites may want to note something on their pages.

###

Info on the event for potential participants:

Our main objective for the event is to instigate a large number of
anti-DRM actions (online and offline) all around the world and get press
and blog coverage for both the individual actions and the overarching
theme: people around the world uniting to oppose DRM.

One simple first step would be for your group to become a participating
organization, perhaps providing some statement of your organization's
opposition to DRM that we could include in press releases. If you'd like
to plan an anti-DRM action, that would be another possibility.

We'll also be asking people to "Take a stand against DRM" on their own
sites, making the case against DRM infected products, DRM schemes, or
anti-circumvention laws and proposing ideas for collective action to
boycott, change or defeat them. It would be excellent if you could
participate in this way, or help spread the meme, or both.
