Dear aktivix e-mail users,

The mail server needs rebooting on Friday night, which means that mail
will be unavailable for about half an hour inside the following times in
the following cities and their time zones:

New_York, USA: 11:59 pm Friday, October 19 to 3:00 am Saturday, October 20
London, UK: Saturday 20th October from 4:59 am to 8:00 am
Madrid, Paris, Berlin, EU: Saturday 20th October 5:59am to 9:00 am

During about half an hour inside those hours, you will not be able to
use your email. If you try to access it via web interface, horde or
roundcube, your browse will report that the site is unavailable. If you
use an email programs like Thunderbird, it will generate an error
messages when you try to send or receive email messages.

If anyone tries to send an email to you, it will be queued for delivery
and will be delivered after the down period is over. The sender will not
be aware of the downtime.

The server is being rebooted in order to re-configure the disk drives
for better performance.

Estimados usuarios de aktivix e-mail,

El servidor de correo necesita reiniciarse el viernes por la noche /
sábado por la mañana, lo que significa que no habrá servicio de correo
electrónico durante una media hora dentro de las siguientes horas en las
siguientes ciudades y sus zonas horarias:

New_York, USA: 11:59 pm viernes 19 de octubre hasta las 3:00 am sábado
20 de octubre
London, UK:  sábado 20 de octubre desde las 4:59 am hasta las 8:00 am
Madrid, Paris, Berlin, EU: sábado 20 de octubre desde las 5:59am hasta
las 9:00 am

Durante una media hora dentro de esas horas, no podrás usar tu email. Si
tratas de acceder a él via la interfaz web, horde o roundcube, tu
navegador reportará que el sitio no está disponible. Si usas un programa
de email, como Thunderbird, generará un mensaje de error cuando trates
de enviar o recibir emails.

Si alguien intenta enviarte un email, se pondrá en cola de espera para
su envío y será entregado cuando el periodo de reinicio haya acabado. El
remitente no será notificado sobre esto.

El servidor se reinicia para reconfigurar los discos duros para mejorar
su funcionamiento.
