Fair enough, zoe...
But I think we DO need to act on the concerns that have been raised. I think
we do need to talk directly with the imc london people now and send
something to the imc london and/or imc uk email list. I think we have to
listen to the concerns and respond to them.
It would be good to hear the opinions re this from Andre, Sian and Pennie...
Best, xst

nice idea, I can imagine that this might calm some concerns, but then, it
might it not raise others at the same time....
i.e why only now? are we defensive? got something to prove?
why should we do anything different from what we are doing? the basic
information about the project has been provided to whoever wants it, cc and
re:tx info are on the wiki, maybe it's not enough for everyone, maybe not
every twist and turn and change has been informed to everyone, ok, we're not
perfect, and well, there's always something wrong with everything if you are
determined to find it.
There are good reasons for people to want to know - and challenge - what we
are up to, so if they have questions, let them ask, fine, and let's answer.
If anyone has any specific offers or suggestions of different ways to work,
great, let's hear them and how/why they will be an improvement on the
current work we do. then maybe we can adopt them. But then let the
questioners also listen to the answers, and look at the actual practices we
do. otherwise, enough already!!!
to be honest I have run out of ideas how to handle the sniping and the bad
feeling, disruption it causes,
so will henceforth attempt to ignore it and get on with the exciting work
cheers all, and sorry for frustrated tone.
xz
