[alt-media-res] Uploading files to wiki ..

Hi Sian,
You can not upload files to the wiki as such (just tried to use the 'upload file' link on the left hand side and it doesnt seem to work); you can only create wiki pages and then paste text into them... do you have your wiki login name/password?
If you want to share files, you need to use the ftp facilities - did you manage to log into the ftp server?
If you want to cross link wiki-text to a file, I currently don't know how to do this; presumably, this could be done by uploading files to our normal (non-wiki) home page: http://alt-media-res.clearerchannel.org.uk/, which should also be available through the ftp access.
Hope this helps for now... tell me if I can help more...
xxst
P.S. for work related emails, please only use my essex mail address... ta

Subject: [alt-media-res] Uploading files to wiki ..

Hey folks .. It's getting to that stage, i.e. where I'd like to be
uploading documents to our wiki. But, do I know how to do this??! NO.

I'm away for a week and offline next week. BUT, I'd really like an
idiot-proof tutorial on how do to this so any experts out there, pse
stand up!

Thanks

xx
