[Anarchafeminists] Women's bloc at UK Uncut's London Street Party, 26th May

On May 26th, there will be a UK Uncut action in London. Plus other actions in Billingham, Middlesbrough , Bournemouth , Central London, Derby , Leeds , Manchester , Nottingham, Sheffield , York . It will be a 'street party with a twist' - more details here. We are arranging four blocs to meet up separately then join together for the main event. These blocs will be: Women's bloc, NHS bloc, Welfare bloc and Real Democracy bloc. We would really appreciate it if you would come along to the women's bloc and publicise it through your own networks. It would be amazing to have as many different banners represented there as possible, and I think it's time for some more feminist direct action in the anti-cuts movement!


The women's bloc will meet at outside 1 London Bridge. It is wheelchair accessible, but we have requested that anyone with particular access needs would email in advance so we can discuss the best travel options (for example, we are paying for taxis for people who need). We are encouraging women of all ages to come along, and are preparing a kid's space and play area as well.
