FILM SHOWING: 'The Great Grunwick Strike 1976-1978: a history'
Come and join us at the Feminist Library to watch 'The Great Grunwick Strike 1976-1978: a history', a film produced by Brent Trades Union Council in 2008. The Grunwick dispute was particularly significant for raising the profile of working class South Asian and East African women, who went on strike for two years at a photo processing plant in Willesden in London. The screening will be followed by a discussion of the film.
