The Feminist Library is proud to host its next 'Women's Studies Without Walls' session on Thursday 13th June, led by peace activist and nobel prize nominee, Angie Zelter. As a founding member of Action AWE (Atomic Weapon Eradication), Angie will talk about the need for more women's action to eradicate atomic weapons in the world, followed by a discussion on direct action more generally.

------------

Women's Studies Without Walls (WSWW) is an project launched by the Feminist Library which aims to return Women's Studies to its rightful place, through informing and encouraging women to take radical feminist action through learning and sharing skills, experience and knowledge. It had a weekend launch in January 2013, with the theme 'The Personal is Political', and is now continuing in the form of a Spring/Summer series of workshops, discussions and skill-shares at the Feminist Library.

WSWW has drawn in feminists of all generations and backgrounds, from within academia and without, and from all around the country. We are keen to broaden out, encouraging feminists across the country to organise sister events. Please contact wsww at feministlibrary.co.uk for more information, to be added to our email list, and for any input or suggestions you may have.
