Join War on Want and others this Saturday in London to take action in solidarity with Rana Plaza factory workers in Bangladesh against high street shops’ seemingly endless exploitation for profit.

When: Saturday 25 May, 11am-2pm

Where: Meet 11am at Cavendish Square Gardens, W1G 0PG

Nearest Tube: Oxford Street

Wear: Black

Mood/image: sombre & reserved. No shouting or megaphones please


One month after the Rana Plaza factory collapsed killing over 1000 and injuring over 2000 in Bangladesh, workers and their families are still being denied compensation by some of the world's biggest brands. 

Mango and United Colours of Benetton, who both sourced clothes from the Rana Plaza factory, are refusing to pay compensation to injured workers, or the families of those killed. These workers are now without incomes and facing an increasingly desperate situation.

We say Never Again. Take action on Saturday and demand that Mango and Benetton pay compensation to injured workers and the families of those killed. 

Please come dressed in black. Bring flowers, candles if you wish.
