It smells like a vacuum of power. Several heroes of the revolution braved the terrible rain overnight to maintain the camp, and it is now under construction being made into a village, as you can see from attached photos.</span></p>
<p class="ecxMsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Arial;color:black">Statement below has been agreed this afternoon to go out to press. The village welcomes all visits, support and particularly people who can stay overnight -- there are spare tents plus some bedding down there, but don't hesitate to bring your own and be comfortable -- stuff won't get nicked, people are there all the time. Help on May 6 election day p.m./eve specially needed. </span></p>

of the Democracy Village on Parliament Square, demand on behalf of the majority
of people that the war in Afghanistan is ended and the troops are brought home
with immediate effect.</span><span style="font-family:Arial;color:black"><br>

</span><span style="font-family:Arial;color:black">The Democracy Village calls
all like-minded concerned citizens to come and join us. We are calling a Strike
for Peace until our demands are met. We are committed to maintaining an ongoing
presence on Parliament Square.</span><span style="font-family:Arial;color:black"><br>

</span><span style="font-family:Arial;color:black">All are welcome to come and
stay for a few hours, a day, or a night.</span><span style="font-family:Arial;color:black"><br>
