<DIV>Dear all, <BR><BR>As many of you will be aware, this April, at least 8 

community nurseries in Hackney were informed of immediate cuts ranging from 

Ł30,000 - Ł50,000 for each nursery. These cuts were implemented without 

consultation or a fair and open process. They mean a serious threat of nursery 

closures. <BR><BR>We need as many nursery staff, parents and community members 

to get involved in the campaign against the cuts and to help campaign for 

quality affordable childcare for all!<BR>We are organising a Fun Day to help 

promote the campaign on Sunday 30 May 11-2pm London Fields and have launched a 

petition - if you have not yet signed it please do at: <BR><A

next Friends of Hackney Nurseries campaign meeting will be on this Thursday May
