having a so-called ‘Opening’ tmrw eve (Wed at 7pm) for The Women’s Library. 300
people have been invited; among those NOT invited are 9 out of 10 members of the
recently formed Feminist and Women's Libraries and Archives Network (FLA),
ex-members of staff who worked there for over 10 years, former academics from
London Met who dedicated many hours of their time to support the Women’s Library
… the list goes on. At the picket we will be asking what this says about the
LSE’s commitment to continuing the Women’s Library’s tradition of openness and
acknowledging its proud past and feminist future.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns =
