Hi David,

 

It was lovely to see you on the World Day for Animals in Laboratories march in London.  I'll have a look at the website below and maybe at the next Animal Rights meeting we could discuss the possibility of organising something.  The next meeting will be held on 24 May at the Bath House, Gwydir Street - will you be coming along?

 

We are also meeting up this Saturday at the Tesco store in Newmarket Road at 12:00 to make our contribution to the 'Global Boycott Proctor and Gamble Day'.  The official date for action was last Saturday but we are doing ours this weekend because more people are available this weekend.  

 

The action will involve a mobile 'street theatre' approach to alerting consumers of the horrors of the animal testing involved in the production of Proctor and Gamble products.  This will entail an enactment of animal testing, which will be acted out to shoppers and staff alike in approximately three supermarkets starting with Tesco.  There will be a giant rabbit, mad scientists and giant syringes (pretend ones, of course) - do you fancy being a mad scientist, or perhaps handing out some leaflets etc?  It will be great fun!!!! 

 

If you can't get to Newmarket Road, I will be going past the Bath House at about 11am, if you need a lift.  Let me know.
