#25: which kernel for 90002
---------------------------------+------------------------------------------
 Reporter: r7 | Owner: lxo
Type: Request For Comment | Status: new
Priority: critical | Milestone: BLAG 90002
Component: BLAG 90k | Version:
 Keywords: kernel |
---------------------------------+------------------------------------------
the stock kernel-libre on the 90001 iso is: kernel-
 libre-2.6.25.10-86.fc9.1

if you do an update against kimsufi [ie the situation when jebba left]:
 kernel-libre-2.6.26.5-45.fc9.i686.rpm

if you do an update against noldrin's repo you get as far as: kernel-
 libre-2.6.27.9-73.fc9.i686.rpm

lxo is continuing to pump out kernels-libre. according to:

 http://www.fsfla.org/download/linux-libre/freed-ora/F-9/i686/

the latest in that series is: kernel-
 libre-2.6.27.21-78.2.41.fc9.1.i686.rpm

i propose that as many as are running 90001 try this kernel-libre as a
 first candidate for 90002 release.
