 Leave the TP alone for a while, come back to it and you'll find that it
 does not repsond to alphanumeric keyboard events. Thinklight is active as
 are screen brightness adjustment keys.

 Guessing that this is an X issue as the keys that work "with the BIOS"
 work.

 trivial cos only affecting __me__ and not blag users.
