There's been someone asking on #blag what the state of the nouveau driver
is in BLAG.
I found it in the repo and my guess is it should work straight away by
installing the package and modifying xorg.conf
Though I did a search on the wiki and found
https://wiki.blagblagblag.org/Meetings:090305 (you can do a search for
'nouveau')
As I understand it lxo warns of using nouveau since the drivers are clean
reverse-engineering but non-free blobs are used. He refers to
http://fsfla.org/svn/fsfla/software/linux-libre/freed-ora/current/F-10
/drm-nouveau.patch
So are these blobs in the kernel (and we're save here since they're
removed in linux-libre) or are they distributed with the xorg-x11-drv-
nouveau package and we need to get a truly free version of this package?
Would this result in a lot more cards being unsupported?
