Good Day All,

Below are some changes that I wanted to implement on the BLAG Wiki
Developer page. This is just the 1/3 of the items listed in trac ticket
33. I will e-mail more changes to this ticket in the next week, but I
thought I would start with these. I'll e-mail more changes to to other
tickets to the respective owners as well. In some cases, I will make
direct changes to the wiki and use the mailing list to denote the day
and the change that I made.

I'll try to e-mail often in short e-mails, so that people can easily
read documents and send feedback quicker.

Ticket #33 resolutions

Discussion Notes - Most of the list dates and releases are included in
the Roadmap. The changes I propose are for the next alpha and stable
release. I based the alpha release date 6 months from that of Fedora 12.
It's was just a filler and we can discuss anything more in detail. I
think April is more realistic

Background

I will work on writing the history of the project after reviewing
jebba's blog, interviews with jebba from various online sources,
interviews with people who have participated in the project, etc.,.
Realistically, writing it is going to be the easy part, bringing
together all the resources to make it complete is going to be the fun
drawn out part.

Objectives

blag(le brixton linux action group) works to overthrow corporate control
of information and technology through community action by spreading Free
Software through releasing blag (blag linux and gnu), a free software
operating system that is contain a suite of graphics, internet, office,
programming, sound and video applications which advocate for user freedom.

Infrastructure

What we have without giving away too much detail ;-)

releases

development server, repo, bug tracking)
    * Support from Free Software Foundation Latin America(i.e Providing

    * Communication Channels via (Website, Forums, IRC(posting and
private messages)

Sustainability List(replaces wish list)

Resources that we need in the present and future to sustain the richness
of the blag user and developer experience

    * Mirror of 120k on Ibiblio, University at Buffalo, North Carolina,
(i.e Global Availability)
    * Anti-Corruption Bandwidth
    * Increased Usage by Fedora users who are adamant about having a
fully Free Software Distribution
    * More discussion in forums and IRC to develop a better distro and
increase responsibility of building future releases
    * 1 24xport switch
    * 1 1U server dual-core for testing packages.
