Good Day All!,

I am writing everyone to inform them that from March 7th - March 14th
that my presence in the forums, on IRC and the mailing list will be
minimal as I plan to focus more time on the infrastructure issues that I
would like to make progress in. That includes updating the wiki, closing
more trac tickets and possibly opening more according to how much can
realistically be accomplished during that time. Over the past week, my
presence has dropped as I have been brainstorming ideas related to BLAG,
the collaboration between FSF distros, school and my business and I will
need to spend the time putting that data into a usable format to share
with those that have been engaging the discussions, working on the next
release and contributing great ideas.

I wanted to announce this publicly because in the past many of us have
not been the best at communicating the reason for our absence which is a
weakness when building trust, respect and friendship that I feel we as a
community we have extended to one another. I have never been satisfied
at seeing forum post like,

"Is BLAG dead at the moment?"
"When will we see a new release of BLAG?"
"What's up with BLAG?"

because points of failure for individuals to communicate what is
happening with themselves which is directly related to the progress,
maintenance, and development of each release and also the community. We
are all real people and the time, energy and commitments we make are no
less real than what we do every day for ourselves, our family, our
friends, employers and the many people that directly and indirectly are
affected by us being and not being there.

Please feel free to send me an e-mail anytime, I just wanted you all to
know that I will be a bit less active within the next week in the places
you usually find me.

Peace,

tearms
