I had an opportunity to speak with Hellekin from GNU Consenus after
reading Volume 1 of their newsletter Whiste[1]. While there, he
introduced me to an individual from Parabola. I re-viesited the
Parabola site and re-loaded the live distro in virt-manager while we
were talking on IRC. Parabola has a non-prism repo[2] which is a
particular repository that aims to provide software built and patched
without support for nonfree, unsafe and dangerous for privacy
protocols and services.

While browsing the site, I did see they have a link to GNU Chile and
that BLAG is also listed there as well.

- From that conversation, I came to conclude that it's important that we
remain connected with other free distros, discussing commonality and
shared ideals.

I am particularly interested in privacy issues at the present and I
stumbled upon GNU Consensus after reading "About coherence, Twitter,
and the Free Software Foundation"[4]. There is a great deal of
discussion about the future of federated and p2p networks and I just
wanted to put it in the forefront that while I share this concerns, I
believe it is important that you are aware, whether you share a
similar concern, have a specific perspective that differs from my own
or have no perspective at all.
