this is the text:

Anarchy Bear’s Grrr8 Picnic
Bring - frisby, friends, smile
Kids stuff, 5-a-side football, skateboarding
competition, face painting,clowns, music, drun circle,
info stalls & more…

All Bristol’s residents are invited to reclaim a city
centre space in a
fun filled expression of defiance - with a family
picnic fun day!

A peaceful festive gathering against:
☼	privatisation of public (green) spaces
☼	Bristol Council’s failure to provide adequate
services for the
elderly, vulnerable & sick
☼	this July’s G8 summit in Scotland, where the
world’s 8 richest
nations will prioritise wars for natural resources &
private profit, 
above
the needs of our planet & people
☼	growing ‘Big Brother’ state controls such as
ID cards, biometric
passports & ASBO’s
☼	the denial of our right to freely assemble...

20 years ago when the authorities decided that the
space at Stonehenge
could no longer be used as a free community festival
space, police
brutally attacked the people who had come to gather
there and smashed 
and
burned their family homes.  This particular act of
oppression became 
known
as ‘The Battle of the Bean Field’. We do not forget
it!

True democracy is: free association & debate,
self-management, human 
need
not private greed, mutual aid, solidarity and fun!
NOT invite-only, closed agenda, town hall meetings;
and state 
oppression.
