Wouldn't it be nice to have a local Community Radio station..!
Mark

Fwd..

(Background: This relates to a long-running struggle by traders and
supporters of a cheap market in Newham, east London, resisting (and seeing
off) a big supermarket and then resisting a massive 'regen' proposed by
Developer St Modwen and a very Blairite local authority. Boris was recently
persuaded to reject the project (on tall-building grounds only) but further
rounds are expected.)

I interviewed Sasha and Saif of Friends of Queen's Market at the Friends of
the Earth event a few weeks back. An edited piece, of about 14 minutes, is
due to be live streamed ( on the internet) tomorrow as part of 'Radio 1812'
through London Link Radio. It goes out in 7.20pm-8pm slot on
http://www.londonlinkradio.net/radio1812/schedule.htm

You may want to listen and/or let people know that it is going out. Radio
1812 is a special international broadcast to celebrate migrants day - lots
of links on the London Link website. Camden Community Radio is
contributing through London Link Radio to the celebration of International
Migrants Day.
