PS this looks like becoming a trend. could be a great way to get 15m going in london: "Start something! Get Twitter to bring sensible people to affected areas on, say, Thursday. Call it #riotcleanup <http://twitter.com/#%21/search?q=%23riotcleanup> "

let's get it trending ..

Hi Hugo! Agree with you and Andy - would be great to discuss. I'd propose as possibilities for discussion 1 convening an end of aug open planning meeting to prepare for oct 15 mobilisation 2 campaigning for local assemblies in context / response to riots and 3 preparing a flier for oct 15 across london. Just a few ideas what do others think ? Love Mark

Yes that's a fantastic movement! We have to go straight ahead to Tottenham, Maybe we have to discuss this in the next assembly this Wednesday in the 15M assembly.

See you around

Hi Sofia - we had a good experience in Tottenham today, and we hope to review what happened and discuss next steps here very soon. In brief, our low key assembly was joined by quite a few people from the local area, and for a while a good discussion took place. Contacts were made, and I think the plan is to return to the area very soon, more later Love and Solidarity - onwards the 15M! Mark

Yes i think we can't move the assembly but some of us are going to meet at seven sisters tube and go talk to people, maybe they would like to  set up an assembly there in the future (as you suggest) and/or start a mobilisation for oct15th.

anyway, let's see what happens....

love and soldarity

Trafalgar would be better for me as i work near there every weekend , but since i can come for 1 hour only... i dont matter much...

OK so the idea is to go together to meet and talk with people and maybe call a street meeting.

It's really easy to get to being a few mins walk from Seven Sisters tube. We will be meeting at 6pm at Seven Sisters tube exit (not the mainline train exit, which is round the corner).

Maybe we can give an organised space for people to air their views and to share some of what has been going on in Spain, Greece and Israel (camps on the streets and popular assemblies).
Please let people you know who might be interested, especially anyone living locally.

 I wholeheartedly agree!
I think we should join with others to go to the area and at least discuss betwen ourselves if there is a possibility of setting something up there.

Hi everyone I've just spoken with Glyn who's in Tottenham now at the scene of last night's disturbances. The whole area is presently closed to traffic which makes it an excellent place for a street meeting, a local assembly if you like and obviously everyone there is talking about what has happened. It's really easy to get to being a few mins walk from Seven Sisters tube. I propose to call an assembly there for 6pm tonight and I have asked that the planned sunday assembly (whose topic of discussion today was setting up local london assemblies) gets moved up there from the  Royal Festival Hall / Trafalgar. What do people think - whose  up for it ? Mark
