Subject: Timetable and information about the People's Assembly

The People's Assembly Against AusteritySaturday 22 June, Westminster Central Hall
The People's Assembly Against Austerity now has over 3,400 people registered to attend. Please arrive at 9am to register on the day.
It will certainly be the biggest gathering of the anti-austerity movement since the financial crash over 5 years ago and a huge display of democratic opposition to austerity.
The provisional timetable for the day can be found here. The full list of speakers will be published in the next couple of days.
Volunteers needed
On the day we will need a big team of volunteers to help out with registration, stewarding and helping make sure the day runs smoothly. We need volunteers to arrive at 7:30am on the day.
We will have a volunteers meeting this Thursday 20 June, 6pm at Westminster Central Hall – we ask that all volunteers attend this meeting. If you are up for helping out on the team please email office at thepeoplesassembly.org.uk with your name and phone number or phone / text Jacqui on 07746 330422.
As you can see from the timetable we have 15 sub assemblies over three sessions. We would like to draw your attention to two specifically:
The next step: creating local People’s Assemblies
One of the main sessions at the assembly will be on 'Creating local People's Assemblies'. In this session we will split off into regions to start to plan with people from where you live. If you are coming as part of a delegation from a region, we request that some or all of your delegates attend this session. We also encourage as many individuals to attend to get involved with the campaign.
Mobilising millions: Re-unionising the UK session
We would like to include in this session 3 minute case studies of local campaigns and how it helped build the union and the campaign against austerity. If you have a concrete experience and examples of this please send an email to nick54rph at me.com so we can call you from the floor.
Access Requirements
Westminster central hall is an accessible venue with wheelchair access to all rooms. For fuller access information click here. If you have any individual access requirements please email office at thepeoplesassembly.org.uk by Thursday 20 June and we'll do our best to meet them.
Please make sure you print out your ticket - click on the 'Print registration summary' button below.
We have agreement from the council to shut the road and will be erecting marquees to accommodate everyone attending. However if you have booked a ticket but are unable to make it please tell us so we know how many people we need to accommodate.
See you on Saturday!
