<div>the community to community thing worldwide is a great idea. what we're doing here is calling for people to form real democracy cells in their neighbourhoods, dedicated to making decisions democratically, inclusively and then non-violently taking control of the area in whatever way they deem appropriate. doing this under one banner would allows groups across London / UK / worldwide to connect up. i think what you are talking about has great potential as it makes the links between issues around climate, refugee and how to build a really good, and globally supportive society.</div>

<div>Also - thanks for link to the greek migrant film , Im in Bangladesh at the moment making a film about climate migration - really interesting.</div>
<div>Just been in the cyclone Aila region where whole villages still underwater and people getting no help at all to rebuild the embankments that would keep the water out. Very humbling experience - to look out across a vast sea that was once a village. People just sitting and crying at the village life that has been lost.</div>

<div>Hope all well with you -catch up when im back if your around, I'd like to do more about linking communities in the UK to places like this in Bangladesh- govt aid isn't working - maybe people can start fighting the impact of climate change directly community to community?<br>

I've chatted to Emma Williams at Student Action for Refugees about doing something practical with asylum seekers (conversation club, english teaching, voucher swap etc..) but it would be great if we could do something regular as a group.<br>
