It was £3000 for London. Also- if you look on the APE site you can see that it has donated to CC a few times in the past. I reckon it'd be worth going for the biggest level and then setting out all the different things we'd be able to do with it, e.g:

Camp

Copenhagen Tour

Climate Caravan

Festivals Mini Camp

Etc etc.

Blimy- the lists have gone MENTAL today. Thank god for Googlemail filters!

Do you think a joint application for a large sum, covering a variety of climate camp projects would be more likely to succeed?

http://www.apeuk.org/selection.html

I have been looking at APE funding for something else - the CC is in a
pretty good positioning to recieve money from them (I would think). Do we
know if other working groups are looking to recieve money from APE? If so,
we would need to speak to them. APE may be confused by a number of funding
requests coming from various working groups that are part of the same
'organisation'.

Two key points that need to be decided upon in developing this: a) we need
to be clear on what we are going to do, and why it is going to be
different (to NGOs etc)?; and b) we need to be clear on how much money we
are applying for, and what it will be spent on.

We can ask for between £500 and £20000 (i think), although we clearly
can't just say 'we want £20000' please.

I would be happy to feed in to this BUT the 27th also happens to be a
hours on it next weekend.

Bert

--
Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth- Albert Einstein
