Yep. The LCS is doing it's own thing and won't be donating to Camp as it's focusing on smaller, local projects. I think therefore that the vegan cafe would be the best idea.

Ok then..
Looks like we need a crash brain storm about what we want to happen. James has already done some stirling work looking at an application for Glasto (See below). I reckon we should thrash out what we'd like to do at the BGG using this as a starting point.
Personally I think something like James' bigger idea below- using one big marquee and organising it like one of the neighbourhoods at the camp:
Vegan Kitchen- making lunch and dinner for donations.
Direct Action Training sessions in the afternoon.
Talks/ Discussions based on the different themes of Climate Camp this year after dinner, followed by some films (and maybe music?)
Not sure a sauna is needed though!!
I think a lot of talks/ training sessions will have already been produced for the G20 event, and I'm sure structures will be being re-obtained in preparation for the convergence. And it's obvious that there's plenty of people who would like to volunteer to provide stuff to the space, which could also be a good meeting point for lots of people if you make it friendly enough.
If we create the space I'm sure it'll work fantastically...
What do people think?

2009/2/11 marina pepper <votepepper@yahoo.co.uk <mailto:votepepper@yahoo.co.uk>>
