To be honest I think this is more a failure of the design brief than the
actual design, but thanks for pointing it out. I think we should be able
to address this by being careful about having a balance of content on
the front page; I think the basic template will allow us that
flexibility. In particular, I imagine the "highlights" section having a
more diverse range of content than it does in the mockup. For example:
* Next gathering
* Great climate swoop (October mass action)
* Climate camp TV
* G20 report
As you can imagine these things will change from time to time depending
on what we wish to "promote".
Similarly the blog can have features which might, for example, look at
the various renewable technologies on site, or whatever.
