Totally agree.
I was talking to Simon about trying to make a widget that people could embed
on their sites, and we were thinking that the widget could care links to the
radio, tv, and blog... or something like that... we thought that what with
time being short, there might be an off the shelf widget maker somewhere
that could do it quite easily.
Does any one have any ideas?
And yes, once the Climate Camp TV site is up properly (the one with the
aggregator feed right now is just a place holder) the films in the main
channel will all be Climate Camp films, beginning with some of the films
from earlier camps through prep, and then the swoop, the camp...
workshops... etc. There will also be 4 sub-channels: from the studio, from
the camp, from the street, and from the hip (see attached for current
working document description). On these channels one might find a film about
an affiliated action that takes place the week of Climate Camp, but wouldn't
stretch to covering the 1010 launch on the 1st of September, as that has no
relation, and in fact scheduled itself against the camp. The other channels
are the stuido, docs from the day and around the camp, and an aggregator
which will pull everything tagged ClimateCamp09 from around the net (that
tag should be whatever is promoted as the media tag... but I'm not sure if
we've totally settled what that is yet?).
