Hey Kevin,

This seems like a good idea so I'm forwarding the proposal to the web
list - however, it looks like it could do with some editing and stuff to
make it more like a blog post, and to link it to our action on Monday as
you suggest. Can anyone take this on?

Cheers

> To Kevin,
> Greetings! My name is Gary "Spruce" Houser, and I was part of a nonviolent blockade at the Chicago Climate Exchange on Nov.30. Perhaps you have heard about this action? I have learned that London Climate Camp is shifting toward a stronger focus on opposition to carbon trading. If true, I am wondering if it could be useful to open lines of communication across the ocean in order to join
> hands in our common effort to protect the earth against
> climate catastrophe.
>
> I am part of a network of activists called Climate
> SOS ( www.climatesos.org ), and we are joining forces with renowned climate scientist Dr.
> James Hansen to expose the dangerous distraction of carbon trading as a
> false solution that will waste precious time as the planet approaches
> tipping points of no return. I have compiled a report
> about the Chicago action (with 5 photos and a video link) that may be of interest to participants in Climate Camp.
>
> I have tried to post it on the blog for the Climate Camp site, but it is not working. Please feel free to post it on my behalf if you think there might be such interest. Did the photos come through OK? Does one need to include the source addresses in order to run the photos on the blog? I can supply if needed. Hope I might receive an "I got your note" so will know have a correct address for you. Please keep up your important efforts !!!
