Great press conference today. Speakers from around the world explaining
why
we feel the COP process is a failure and it is time for mass protests
and
for civil society to create alternative forums in the streets.

IMPORTANT MESSAGING UPDATE -
The inside component of tomorrow's action is NO LONGER  being referred
to as
a "walk out". Our allies from Africa and the indigenous caucus have
asked us
not to use that term because it is an official term in U.N. Speak which
is
an important tool for government delegations who are participating in
the
talks. There was a walk out yesterday by the G-77 and there may be more
later in the week so we don't want to water down the term.

Rather tomorrow participants from civil society and social movements who
are
inside the Bella Center will be "marching out to join the people's
assembly
outside to discuss real solutions to the climate crisis and build a
powerful
global movement of movements for climate justice."
