Hi Neil,

Great that the Nottingham gathering is up on the front already. Here are the details of the Copenhagen speaker tour - not sure if they've gone direct to you as well.

My suggestion for the front page would be to replace the second paragraph that's current up there with the blurb below, then the events as listed in Wolfe's email. This will obviously need to change when the G20 action is announced (tomorrow?), but I'm sure people are on the case with that. I've also think the top section of the front page needs some tweaking but I have to run to a meeting.

Sorry if this is duplicating something someone else has sent you. Am copying in International list and Webedit list. As time is pressing I suggest you make these changes and then amend it if others have comments.

Jonathan

Suggested blurb:

COP15 Copenhagen Info Tour, 6-17 February 2009
Do we cheer them on, block them in, or close them down?

The UN talks in Copenhagen this December are supposed to be the place where world leaders agree a new
international deal to stop climate change. But progress so far has been undermined by corporate lobbying and false, market-based solutions.

When activists from across Europe hit the streets of Copenhagen, should we be calling on governments to do better, blockading them in until they come up with a good deal, or are the negotiations so flawed we should try to close them down?

Mads and Sofie, Danish activists from Klimax in Copenhagen, are here to take part in discussion forums around the country from 6-17 February. Events include:

"Brothers and sisters, there is dissent over the projects of globalisation all over the world. Those above, who globalise conformism, cynicism, stupidity, war, destruction and death. And those below who globalise rebellion, hope, creativity, intelligence, imagination, life, memory and the construction of a world that we can all fit in, a world with democracy, liberty and justice."
