Dear all,

I am sending the following proposal around the lists so that those who
are interested can have a think about it before the gathering.

PROPOSAL: Overhaul the climate camp website

The climate camp website is very important for our networking, outreach
and media work. At the moment I feel that the website isn't anywhere
near as good as it could be. I have written about the problem and made
suggestions for solutions in a 4 page document available at
http://tinyurl.com/o94rjd

In my view, to solve this problem we need to do three things:

1. Recognise that a problem exists
2. Agree to fix the problem
3. Make sure we have a strong and active website group who are ready and
able to do the work

My proposal is as follows:

* The gathering asks the website group to "overhaul" the website, using
the above mentioned document as a starting point for discussion.
* The gathering asks those interested to join the website group, which
is currently a fairly small group and not very active.

I would hope this won't take longer than 15 minutes to cover.
