Here's a proposal from Brad (and for the record, i'm all for it):

So, at the gathering it was agreed that Climate Camp would donate to The
Skint Project as well as promoting on the website/newsletter etc.

Firstly, just to clarify what The Skint Project is: all the amazing
actions
of late have led to some rather long drawn out police and court
proceedings,
involving several trips across the the country to police stations and
court
rooms for many many activists. This has had the obvious effect of
financially crippling a lot of these activists. Therefore, the fund
has been
set up firstly to enable a sense of fairness, where taing part in
activism
is not just the priviledge of the financially fortunate, and also to
sustain
a movement that would otherwise peter out and die pretty quickly.

The fund is going to be raising money through a variety of means, from
seeking large donations from donors to encouraging small donations
from the
sympathetic masses.

We are still in the process of developing our materials/promo texts
for the
fund, but wanted to work out a possible means to publicise the fund on
the
website.

Can I propose the following:
-That The Skint Fund gets a free-standing webpage on the site with all
the
details of how to donate/claim on it.
-That this page is linked to from the "How to Make a Donation
Page" (as this
will hit the right target audience)
-That for a temporary period most appropriate in relation to other
events
going on, the fund occupies on the four smaller boxes on the home page
(currently occupied by Coaches to Copenhagen, Bike Bloc, 350 reasons,
etc)

In the next few days, we can produce draft text and hopefully a draft
logo,
which I will share with you all.
