[Cc-webedit] Process issues with recent blog post

Hi all,

This email concerns this blog post:
http://www.climatecamp.org.uk/blog/2009/09/22/action-updates-from-climate-camps-around-the-world

My understanding is that it was sent in by the international group and
then put up by Neil.

Neil - Thanks for putting it up, but I think there are definite issues
with how it happened:

1. I thought we agreed the process for putting up blog posts would be to
send it around the list and then put it up a few hours later if there
are no objections. I personally have no issue with this post, but I have
a big issue with the fact that there was no email to the list about it -
even after it went up. If people feel this is unnecessarily bureaucratic
then we need to discuss that and agree on a more suitable process, but
for now the process that we have agreed should be stuck with.

2. When the post first when up it completely ignored the style guide
(I've fixed it now). I've said it before but I'll say it again - if
pasting in from elsewhere you need to use the "rubber" to clear
formatting. And make sure that there are proper spaces between the
paragraphs. I'm working on improvements to the editor which will make
this more automatic, but for now it needs to be done. I raised an issue
last week about the "Where Next" minutes not adhering to the style guide
too, but this has been ignored. Why?

Neil - please respond. The lack of communication is unhelpful and
frustrating.

Thanks,
Jon
