[Cc-webedit] Front page proposal

Hi

Been a mega busy week covering people at work so I don't have much time to
respond unfortunately.

Anyhow, no animosity intended but I am withdrawing from the web group, as
per my understanding of a block. I will continue to support independent
media provision at Climate Camp provided the core aims remain compatible
with my own, and will always be on hand for advice or help if needed.

At the Blackheath camp, we (again) decided by consensus that we are an
anticapitalist movement. Having a copyrighted picture on the front page of
our site (with the c logo displayed) as opposed to giving a chance to
those who take photos/videos etc for love not money is, I believe, against
the spirit of anticapitalism.

Since my involvement in this group is based on my own strongly
anticapitalist views, and belief in a free and open source media which
embraces Creative Commons sharealike licensing I unfortunately cannot
devote any time to this group since it is against my principles what has
happened in a fundamentally unresolvable way.

As I said, I mean no animosity so I will pass over my server admin
responsibilities once someone is found who has the skills to take this on,
and will do a skillshare session on how others can get involved in doing
this at the next national gathering I can attend.

I continue to support Climate Camp and will do all I can in the coming
year to make a positive contribution to all involved in some way or
another.

In Solidarity

JimDog
