Along Eds suggestion for something a bit more technically sophisticated, I wonder whether this could replace (if technically possible, when when someone with know-how has time to work on it) the 'Climate Camp' in the news bit.
I say this for two reasons.
1. The climate camp in the news doesn't really work: we've already changed the search criteria, and still we have stories popping up about things completely irrelevant to the camp.
2. While I personally think its great thatm the Daily Mail, etc, care about us enough to write stories about how we're in Mutiny between the 'Leaders' and participants, this doesn't mean we have to choose to publish this crap on the front page of our website.
Perhaps, this is two separate points (one about events page, one about the newsfeed) but I've been waiting for something suitable to suggest replacing it with.
Thoughts?
