Hi all,
I believe that Ed is working on getting neighbourhoods and working group details so that we can ensure that everyone has access. I also volunteered to do a bit of a workshop with these users to make sure that they have a good working understanding of what's needed. Is there anybody else who would like to help with that? Also, does anybody have any good ideas for times/places to do that?

thanks
Brian
ps : i will be changing address to iggyp-website@riseup.net .....

2009/2/10 neil <neil_bye@hotmail.com>

The minutes of the Oxford meeting came through to website@.. so I'm
posting them in case no one else does.

Web workingroup minutes Oxford = 31/01/09

webgroup people need = logon
List needed with existing logons
Who is = already on?
ccwebcopy list. Neil will put info on this list =3D>= also for general
discussion
All webgroup people sign up at = activix

Current situation: Different = website each year depending on activity.
These websites = are designed annually by external organization, based
on a brief on = context and structure from Network.
Not suited for next = year.

Should this be different? It would be = good to have a more sustainable
= site/continuity

Web working group should = organize day to work on structure.

People would = find it useful if someone from the webgroup could attend
the Network = meeting.
They can feed in about tech = stuff.

Should webgroup also do content = (?)

Suggestion to have two groups: Webcopy and = webtechnical
Should initially stay/work = together.
Webcopy people should have some idea of = webtechnics to facilitate
communication with other working groups who = have webcopy/webrequests
There should be a (permanent?) link = with Networking.
Who's interested in = what?

'Dropout' sessions and manual will be = created (whO?)

Some content = suggestions:
*Target issues webpage
*Include stories = that made the news
*Info about events on = frontpage
*Have our own platform/socialnetwork site (e.g. use = Ning)
*Legal (issues) webpage (request from outside = webgroup)

Gathering organizers need to be known = so logon details gathering page
can be passed = on.
