Hi all,<br>
I think the front page of the website could do with a few small changes
to make the 1 April more clearly the main thing, and the formatting of
the text (bolds, paragraph breaks, left justification etc) more
readable. (I've checked that the top heading fits across two lines!) My
proposed text is below - can we say amendments by end of today? Would
be good for it to be up in time for the G20 update going out tomorrow. <br>

Nature doesn’t do bailouts!</h1>

<p>2008 saw the biggest Climate Camp to date and the most incredible
array of
direct action against climate change on record. </p>
<p>In 2009, we’re focusing on the fact that the failed economic system
has
caused climate change, and that proposals to use similar systems to
address climate change - at the UN Climate Change conference in <st1:City><st1:place>Copenhagen</st1:place></st1:City>
in December and elsewhere - are doomed to fail. We will be actively
opposing these attempts
and promoting alternatives – starting in <st1:City><st1:place>London</st1:place></st1:City>
on 1 April:</p>

European
Climate Exchange on Wednesday 1st April for 24 hours of camping,
workshops,
protest, positive alternatives, direct action, and community. </p>
<p>First the city traders speculated with our homes, jobs and money –
with
disastrous results. Now they are using carbon credits to speculate with
our
climate and the very future of life on earth – and once again our
governments
are cheering them on. </p>
<p>On 1st April the G20 leaders arrive in <st1:City><st1:place>London</st1:place></st1:City>.
At a time of climate crisis their response to the market meltdown is
emergency
loans to car manufacturers, increased spending to encourage consumption
and
bailouts for the very people who got us into this mess - just the
things that
will make the climate crisis worse. </p>
<p>We need to stop this foolishness – starting on April Fools Day, 1st
April. </p>
<p>We'll begin gathering at <st1:time minute="0" hour="12"><b>12 noon</b></st1:time><b>

turbine,
mobile cinema, extra shoes, action plans and ideas...let’s imagine
