ok - i thought we were trying to arrange an evening meeting in london anyway.

perhaps we could have a web editorial meeting on tuesday - or we could hold out for the full-day web extravaganza, i don't mind either way

ali

2009/5/29 Jonathan Leighton <j@jonathanleighton.com>

I have a little bit of an issue with this depending on what is discussed
- it seems the "editing crew" are mainly in London (Jonathan, Ellen,
Alistair), but others of us are further away (Sara, me, Neil). I guess
it depends what the purpose of that meeting would be and how much
decision making power it would have, but if you guys came up with some
changes which were then sent to the list for comments first I think it
should be okay.

I do think we will need a full day meeting at some point to:

* Put together the design brief
* Think about information architecture (do interactive stuff like card
sorting, diagrams on whiteboards, etc)
* Work out a mandate for the blog
* Etc...

I think maybe we should try to set a date for this over the list so that
people's diaries don't get booked up. We realised in Hebden this wasn't
realistically going to happen before the Cambridge gathering, but soon
after would be great. We also said that it would be in London.

I have set up a "doodle" here - please say when you can make it and we
can work out a venue:

http://doodle.com/imz7dtddt845gvd2

Also, I can report that I have chatted to Torchbox
(http://www.torchbox.com/) and they will probably be able to do a design
for us. They will discuss it next Wednesday and confirm after that.
